Danger hides in the shadows. We spend our childhoods convincing ourselves that the dark holds terrible secrets and evil deeds and as we grow, we realise that it is worse than our young minds could have imagined and that true terror will follow you into the darkness. This can be taken literally, but this track was born from the idea that the worst things are the things we take with us and that the shadows of our minds are the scariest places.
