An orchestral version of Jean-Joseph Mouret’s popular and famous Fanfare-Rondeau, from his first Suite of Symphonies. This arrangement is for a full orchestra playing the main theme with an emphasis on trumpets and the brass section. First chairs play the interludes. The fanfare is used to signify the arrival or entrance of a noble person or royal and has a stately, bold and regal tone. It is a popular piece, used in many famous TV shows and is also popular at weddings.
