I was trying to go for a balkan-informed theme on this one, with it’s simple melodic lines. I went for a funky swinging beat and Sakir gave it an almost Bollywood feeling to it with his percussion playing. It also is a rather danceable tune, showing my lighter side. Here I played the electric bass and the piece builds up to an electric and distorted bass solo. I remember jamming on this piece late at night, it might even have been a Saturday night in quarantine, trying to recreate in my mind the joy of being out with friends, playing, dancing, having fun.
