Gymnopédie No.2 is a piano composition written by the French composer Erik Satie. This second piece is called “Lent et triste” which means “Slow and sadly”. Gymnopédie No.2 creates a calm, gentle and melodic atmosphere. The melodie use deliberate, but mild, dissonances against the harmony, producing a piquant, melancholy effect. It will be suitable for film, video and podcasts. Two versions are included: Piano version (3:20) and Piano version with gentle strings (3:20)
