Gymnopédie No.1 is a piano composition written by the French composer Erik Satie. This first piece is called “Lent et douloureux” which means “Slow and painful”. Gymnopédie No.1 creates a calm, gentle and melodic atmosphere. The melodie use deliberate, but mild, dissonances against the harmony, producing a piquant, melancholy effect. It will be suitable for film, video and podcasts. Two versions are included: Piano version (3:35) and Piano version with gentle strings (3:35)
